Take a quick second and check out the latest music video called “Murda” released by Hi-Rez.
The Penalty/Sony recording artist recently came out with his EP on May 13 which can be found on Itunes. Hi-Rez is one of the realest rappers out there and which is why we chose him to be apart of our CMFA team. Stay tuned for Hi-Rez to be rocking a couple of our street wear t-shirts! If you see Hi-Rez wearing our tee’s, you know they are dope!

I had the opportunity to attend a Kid Ink concert at The Plaza theater in Orlando, Florida with a couple of my CMFA Clothing buddies on the 22nd. Oh and I’m sorry about being a little late writing this post about the concert. Things have been crazy in the office lately!
For those of you who aren’t quite familiar with Kid Ink, he is a 28 year old hip hop artist who resides in Los Angeles, CA. Kid Ink is currently signed to RCA Records and currently has two albums out, one called My Own Lane and Up & Away. His rap flow isn’t just an ordinary trap house type. He has a smooth rhythm and spits true meaning the entire time. Kid was also dressed up in his casual street wear clothing as usual.
I forgot to mention, on the way to the concert we had our rear right tire blow out on the interstate 10 minutes out from the theater. After sitting on the side for almost 2 hours we thought for sure we had missed it but thankfully his opening act, “King Los” took his time! We ended up getting there as Los was wrapping up.
Anyways, Kid Ink put on a great overall show. Most artists that I have seen in concert have stayed for two or three songs and they’re out. But Kid Ink is all about his fans and it was overall a good performance. The video below is one of the most popular songs he came out with, called “Show Me” featuring Chris Brown. Next time I will plan ahead of time and order VIP meet and greet tickets so I have a chance to personally hand Kid Ink some of our street wear clothing and apparel.
Its been a pretty busy week thus far but some how I found some spare time to come up with a few designs for the store. Now these aren’t 100% finalized just yet but they are pretty damn close to being published.
- The first design is the Ink & Soul Tee. The picture of the tatted up chick is not only sexy but its eye catcher that will for sure turn heads. Its a nice design for those who have a fetish for fine tatted chicks. The shirt will be printed on a lightweight white tee that has a very comfy fit.
- This next design will be printed on a lightweight heather grey tank top and tee’s. I came up with the flag design that represents freedom of course. The “Drive Fast, Live Young” symbolizes living your life young without any regrets. Drive fast, do what you love and be FREE!
Planning a vacation this summer? Looking for a new place to live? Here are 5 reasons why you should head out to California where the girls are pretty and the spots are endless.
5. The beaches!
Nobody in the world can deny that california has some amazing beaches! Not only are the beaches beautiful but the surfing is also amazing. That must be why so many great surfers came from there. That list includes Dewey Weber, Tom Blake (he invented the hollow surfboard), and Tim Kelley. Every year they also have the Huntington Beach Surf Competition.
4. The Music Scene
There are a bunch of popular bands that came out of California. Due to this California is considered a mecca for the music Industry. With bands such as Linkin Park, Korn, and Tool being from there they have tons of music festivals. There are even a number of Hip Hop artists from Cali such as Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre, and 2pac.
3. The girls
Like the Beach Boys and Katy Perry have said before. Nobody does it like the california girls. It is a hoax to get people out to Cali? Is it true that being by the beach automatically makes the girls prettier? Head on out to California to find out.
2.The theme parks
California is home to the number one theme park in the world. DISNEYLAND! They also have Universal Studios. Not very many states have 2 out of 3 of the top theme parks in the world.
1. THE SPOTS
In the BMX and skate community it has always been East VS. West. The east is known for their gritty spots. California on the other hand is known for there amazing spots with great run ups. Rails are perfectly waxed and ledges uncapped. California is just the real life version of SKATE 3.
You probably heard the news that Ryan Taylor was dropped from the Hyper team. He was added last summer and everything seemed to be going fine with them. He had a prototype frame in the works and he was doing a lot of trips for Hyper. He even dropped this amazing edit for them.
His good friend Harry Main was even added to Hyper shortly after he was. Then it all crumbled.
2 weeks ago a video was posted on Instagram showing Ryan Taylor fighting AJ Anaya.
Shortly after this was posted Ryan informed everybody that he was leaving the company. He says he left because the company was too corporate and he didn’t feel comfortable. Hyper did not say why they let him go, but we can assume it was because of the fight. Ryan has also posted on twitter that he was going to be starting a frame company. He has not given us anymore information on this.
Do you feel it was fair for Ryan to be “fired” for a fight that he did not want to be apart of? What do you think of him starting his own company? Do you think we have to many Rider-Owned companies already? Let us know what you think in the comments!
