Whether you’re an NBA fan or you like to tune into the playoffs, the Los Angeles Clippers scandal between the owner, Donald Sterling, deserves all the attention right now. For those who have no clue what I’m talking about, Sterling was allegedly making racist comments about minorities that was quite wrong. The scandal had lots of people wondering how the Clippers would react. At one point, the word was that the Clippers may possibly cancel game 4. But that didn’t happen as they players reacted in a whole different way, choosing fashion as a means of silence. Before the game started, the entire Clippers roster gathered up at mid-court to remove their shooting shirts while their warmups underneath were turned inside out. The Houston Rockets participated in the protest by wearing black wristbands that signaled the league to hand Sterling the harshest punishment possible.[UPDATE]: The NBA has decided to ban Donald Sterling from the league for life and a $2.5 million fine to go with that. I also heard sources say that Sterling will be forced to sell the team.
